In 2012, Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol found themselves bidding on a racehorse named Siempre Mio. Bryant won the bid, but Gasol’s interest in the horse’s name kept him in the mix, and the two ultimately became co‑owners — a fitting symbol of their off‑court brotherhood. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Protro "Siempre Mio"pays homage to that bond with suede, Western‑style embroidery, pony‑hair Swooshes, Ocean Cube Kobe logos, and a horseshoe dubrae stamped “Siempre Hermanos. ”, meaning “Always Brothers”.
