The Barbour Bedale jacket marked a major shift for the brand when it arrived in 1980. Before then, Barbour was known for longer, heavier outerwear and its motorcycle suits — but the Bedale introduced a shorter, lighter shape designed by Dame Margaret Barbour for horse riders. Rear vents, a flexible 6oz waxed cotton and practical detailing made it easy in the saddle, and those same features are why it still feels both traditional and modern today. Built for real use, not just aesthetics. 100% Waxed Cotton Oversized Fit Corduroy Collar 2-Way Zip Closure Large Bellow Pockets Moleskin-Lined Handwarmer Pockets Embroidered Branding Style Code: MWX1679BK91
