The gripgrab windproof road toe covers are a versatile and multi-season piece of kit that can find a place in every cyclist’s kit drawer. Worn on their own over a pair of road cycling shoes these toe covers offer windchill protection and a lightweight extra layer of insulation for your toes on those early morning rides particularly on cool spring and autumn days. Then paired with overshoes in the winter they offer an added layer of insulation to keep your toes warm in your cycling shoes as you log those long kilometres in the saddle during the colder months. Combined with a light pair of waterproof overshoes toe covers can also offer a transitional level of warmth to your toes when it isn’t yet cold enough for full winter overshoes but you are likely to encounter rain and wet roads. The toe covers themselves have a level of water resistance and the stretch fabric helps shield your toes from light wheel spray and mist. When attached to the front of your cycling shoes the gripgrab windproof road toe covers are right in harm’s way but the aramid-fibre wear reinforcements on the underside help reduce scuffing and improve product lifespan. Autumn and winter rides are often done in low light conditions so the reflective logo print helps to improve your road presence in low light and low visibility conditions. These road cycling toe covers are easy to fit with their slip-on high-stretch design. They easily go over road cycling shoes thanks to the pre-cut reinforced cleat holes. Easy on before a ride and easy off during – if your toes get too warm they are a versatile accessory and small enough to stow in your jersey pocket.
