As tennis takes centre court this summer, one thing rings true — it’s the season of the Stan Smith. Born as adidas’ first leather tennis shoe in 1963 and later being named in honour of the American tennis star, the Stan Smith has flourished over generations. It was a hit on the courts, embraced on the streets in the ‘80s, and cemented as an essential lifestyle shoe up until this day. This updated version brings a subtle croc texture and golden logo hardware to the table, continuing the evolution of what is arguably tennis’ greatest shoe.
