The adidas Taekwondo sneaker might feel new, but like so many of adidas’ tr***ing profiles, the Taekwondo sneaker draws inspiration from the archives. The original Taekwondo was created to meet the demands of martial arts: it embodies the well-being and inner balance mentality with its ultra-low profile and light comfort. The original adidas Taekwondo sneaker famously has a lace-free look and is defined by the cover on the tongue. Still today, the “slip-on” shoe has all the martial arts DNA of adi, with 3D quilting on the toe, and the 3-Stripes on the side wall.
